Current found bugs in the jam version:

• Wait button doesn't work in the tutorial. It works in the rest of the levels.
• Game over screen has some issues. Multiple button presses may be required. Be careful not to shut down the game if playing the windows or mac build.
• Audio cuts out in level 1 when playing on Chrome. No issues noticed when using Firefox.

Play as the Chicken Hacker using your Tamago Sendai cyberdeck to surf through cyberspace and rescue your kidnapped chicken buddies.

Chicken Hacker 64 is a genre mashup between classic dungeon crawlers, and on rails shooters. It was designed for the Dungeon Crawler Jam 2025 using the themes Heist and Genre Fusion.

Controls

WASD, Numpad 8456, or the left thumbstick for strafing.

QE, Numpad 79, or the right thumbstick for rotating.

Arrow keys, or D-Pad for tank controls.

Spacebar, Numpad 0, or the bottom face button for your primary abilities. Opening your inventory or shooting.

Tab, Enter, or the right face button for your secondary abilities. Waiting a turn, or shooting a bomb.
