Into The Valley Of The Unfortunate Undead
A downloadable RPG
Into The Valley Of The Unfortunate Undead is my attempt to combine two of my favorite tabletop roleplaying games: Mörk Borg and Cairn. My hope is that by combining the two of them I can create an abomination that achieves some of my favorite aspects of both. Or maybe I’ll just make them both worse… It’s worth a try regardless.
A copy of Cairn is not necessary to play, but is highly recommended for the incredibly useful advice within. Links to the book, the SRD, and more info about Cairn can be found here:

A copy of the Mörk Borg core rules is necessary to play. Find out more about Mörk Borg, the rules, and where to buy the book here:

Work In Progress
This hack is still a work in progress. It is not yet playtested and some of the numbers may need tweaking. In particular the methods for adapting Mörk Borg and OSR monsters might need some work.
If you have feedback please leave a comment! You can also reach out to me on twitter @PerspectiveDesi or talk to me on the Mörk Borg or NSR discords under the name Aen-Sedhe.

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity in providing community copies of your game. I’m a disabled pension who can’t afford much so these free gifts really help me out in playing games and keeping my mind active.
I really appreciate your hard work and kindness
I've never played Cairn, but I have played Electric Bastionland, and no hit roll makes combat very quick. This I like. The skeleton has 0HP by the way.
Enemies seem very tanky, while character very weak. 7HP 8grit Scum. Doesn't that make combat as slow as regular MB?
Under Powers and Scrolls it says to do a Presence test if there are no empty inventory slots, if the character is deprived, or if the character's HP is 0. Is this supposed to be if Grit is 0? Because I'm assuming if HP is 0 the character is dead, although it doesn't explicitly say that anywhere.
You are totally right. I will try fix that and upload a new copy soon.
This is relly cool! I’ve been thinking bout something similar since Mörk Borgs mechanics aren’t as great as it’s feel!
Is there a character sheet somewhere perhaps?
